Our Story
A family-owned Coachella Valley business three decades in the making. Every shutter, every countertop, and every relationship is built to last.
Since 1992
Sullivan's began in 1992 when Bob Sullivan started a small shutter workshop in the Coachella Valley. What started with a passion for woodworking and a commitment to doing things the right way grew into the region's most trusted name in custom home surfaces and window treatments.
In 2003, we expanded into stone fabrication, adding a full-service countertop operation to our 6-acre facility on Cabazon Road in Indio. Today, Sullivan's Shutter & Stone Factory employs a team of skilled artisans who design, manufacture, and install every product under one roof.
We're not a showroom that outsources the work. We're the factory. Every countertop is cut here. Every shutter is built here. That's how we guarantee quality that other companies simply can't match.
Our Journey
Bob Sullivan opens a small shutter workshop in the Coachella Valley, driven by a passion for traditional woodworking and a vision for local, handcrafted quality.
Sullivan's Stone Factory opens, expanding into custom countertop fabrication. A new chapter begins with granite, marble, and quartz alongside the shutter operation.
We move into our current 6-acre facility on Cabazon Road, equipped with CNC bridge saws, a Flow waterjet, Commandulli edge polishers, and a state-of-the-art water recycling system.
Still family-owned. Still proudly local. Thousands of happy homeowners across the Coachella Valley and Southern California, with thousands more to come.
What We Believe
Every countertop is cut to exact tolerances. Every shutter is hand-finished. We'd rather do one job perfectly than rush through ten.
We hire local, buy local, and support our community. When you work with Sullivan's, you're supporting Coachella Valley families, not a faceless corporation.
Our shutters carry a lifetime warranty. Our stone will outlast the house. We build for our kids and our neighbors' kids, not for next quarter's sales numbers.
We give plant tours daily. Come see the 6-acre facility, meet the team, and understand why homeowners have trusted us for three decades.
